Rosary Chain Prayer 2016

In this Great Jubilee Year of Mercy, Mary Matha Shrine, Ross Hill, Vishakhapatnam is very happy to organize the Rosary Chain Prayer. This October, the month of Rosary we have entered the 22nd year of this prayer campaign with the apostolic blessing of our arch bishop Mallaverap Prakash. This year too we are glad to bring to you this leaflet for your participation remaining in your own places.

As we are engaged in this prayer activity let us continually keep in mind the highlight of our Christian life this year which is MERCY. We recognize in our Holy Father Francis a ‘Pope of Mercy’ in St Theresa of Calcutta an ‘Angel of Mercy’ and in the Blessed Virgin Mary a ‘Mother of Mercy’. The very life, activity and teaching of Pope Francis reveal this message of Mercy. The poor ones who breathed their last in the lap of St. Theresa and the abandoned babies who found a safe cradle in her lap are living monuments of Mercy.

Pope Francis teaches us that Our Lady, Mother of Mercy held in her arms the mercy of God made flesh. Shown in the front page of this leaflet is a fruit bearing tree. Mary is the life giving tree that holds out for us the redemptive fruits which are the rosary mysteries. Rosary is the complete and perfect presentation of Gods redeeming mysteries. In the Jubilee Year, we are invited to plunge deep into the essence of these mysteries which is MERCY.

The Mercy door is wide open not only in Vatican but all over the world and Missionaries of Mercy are sent out to all the world. Let us then get down on our knees to repent, obey and pray as children of God. Let us realize that disobedience, corruption, food adulteration, greed, relationship problems, addiction to media, etc have brought disorders in the world. Global warming, natural calamities, climate control, etc are reducing the life of the earth.

The simple but powerful Rosary prayer that brought victory at Lepanto (1571) will bring down the merciful divine intervention upon the crisis of our time. We recommend to you to choose any hour of the day or night on every day of Oct 2016 and pray the Rosary for the following proposed intentions.

We request you to let us know the time of your participation in this Chain Prayer at your place by post or by email. Kindly render your postal address and email id so that we can be in contact. Finally a most cordial welcome to you and your friends to participate in the Marian Convention at Ross Hill , Vishakapatanam, from 10am to 4pm on 7th Oct 2016.

Jesus revelations to St. Faustina Speak to the world about my mercy ... It is a sign for the end times. After it will come the Day of Justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of my mercy.  (Diary 848)

He who refuses to pass through the door of my mercy must pass through the door of my justice. (Diary 1146).

In addition to these words of Our Lord Sr. Faustina gives us the Words of the Mother of Mercy, the Blessed Virgin,

You have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just Judge. Oh how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still the time for granting mercy. (Diary 635).
