ROSARY CHAIN PRAYER INTENTIONS

Rosary Chain Prayer 2017

We are in the Centenary year of the apparition of Our Lady at Fatima. Our blessed Mother Mary appeared to three shepherd children Lucia, Francisco and Jacintha on the 13th of every month from May to October 1917. It was a time when the horror of the First World War had gripped the whole world. The then Pope Benedict the XV appealed to the universal church to pray to Mother Mary for her intercession for the cessation of war. A week later Mother Mary appeared to the children of Fatima and told them to pray Rosary and do penance for the peace of the world and conversion of sinners.

Mother Mary has given a beautiful prayer which we pray after each mystery of the Holy Rosary. “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins! Preserve us from the flames of hell! Bring all souls to heaven, especially those who have most need of your mercy!”

On October 13th Our Lady revealed herself saying ‘ I am the Lady of the Holy Rosary! I have come to ask all mankind to do penance and to ask pardon for its sins! Do not add to the countless outrages by which Our Lord is already so much offended, especially by sins of impurity!”

The word of God tells us “Everything in the world – the craving of the flesh, the greed of eyes, and the pride of self – all this belong to the world, not to the Father.” - I Jn, 2/16.

Today the world is filled with hate, strife and greed. Humanity is threatened with nuclear war and ecological imbalance. Misuse of media, vanishing of family values, addiction to drugs and alcohol, sex crimes, abortions and immorality in general have increased to an alarming degree.

In this our troubled time we have a sure way to eliminate all wars, cure the mental and spiritual ills of mankind and experience a lasting peaceful mode of life. That is to heed to the simple requests made by the Mother of God at Fatima. They are 1. Penance and reparation; 2. The daily recitation of the Rosary for conversion and repentance of sinners; 3. On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion; 4. Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Inspired and challenged by this call to pray the Holy Rosary, the devotees of Mother Mary at Ross Hill Shrine, Visakhapatnam under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Velangani Rao Dola MSFS the Director continue to organize the Rosary Chain Prayer with the apostolic blessing of our Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. M. Prakash. This year we are at the 23rd year of this prayer campaign.

We recommend to you to become a link in this chain prayer by choosing any hour of the day or night for everyday of the month of October 2017 and pray the Rosary for the following proposed intentions. Intentions – 2017

We pray for Pope Francis, Bishops and all consecrated people that their holiness of life and prayer may become example for the lay people.
Merciful God, we pray for peace and harmony all over the world through the intercession of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
Glorious God, may the terminally sick and the bed-ridden people grow in hope and courage to accept their pains till their death through the intercession of St. Joseph.
Merciful God, we pray that the present generation may not misuse the internet for the lust of eyes and may they grow as holy temple of God.
We pray for children of poor families who can not get quality education that school authorities may come to their aid.
Ever living god, we pray for youth of marriageable age that they may get suitable spouse for their married life.
Loving God, we pray for the childless couples that by your mercy they may have gift of children in their family.
Merciful Mother Mary, pray for young men and women that they may not reject the child which is the precious gift of God.
Miraculous Infant Jesus, we pray that the inmates of the destitute homes may receive proper love, affection and protection for their lives.
Miraculous Infant Jesus we pray that all humanity may accept Mother Mary as mother of all mankind.
Powerful Holy Spirit, we pray for those who accept Christian faith that they may understand the sacraments and guidance of the Holy Spirit to live truly holy life.
Marvelous God, you have assured blessing and protection to all who call on your name. We pray that the government may understand the Christian religion and may not persecute and kill the Christians.
Dear St. Joseph, we ask your intercession that children may show gratitude to their parents by giving love and respect till their death.
God of Joy, we pray that your gift of girl children may be accepted by their parents joyfully and give education and protection.
O the Good Shepherd, we pray that those who are rejected from gulf and other countries and are unemployed may experience your protection and shelter.
Mother of God, we pray that the Christian families may be made holy by family prayer of Rosary and Word of God.
God the Father of Mankind, we pray through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima to eliminate terrorism and war to faster peace among nations.
Jesus the light of all nations, we pray for all marginalized sections of humanity like eunuchs, beggars, lepers, robbers and prisoners to experience the lord of peace.
Spirit of God, we pray for the differently abled and the mentally retarded that they may recognize you and praise you till their end.
Mother Mary of Rosary, we ask your intercession for all who are dedicated to Holy Mass and Holy Rosary that they may be blessed abundantly by the loving God.

Jesus revelations to St. Faustina Speak to the world about my mercy ... It is a sign for the end times. After it will come the Day of Justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of my mercy. (Diary 848)

He who refuses to pass through the door of my mercy must pass through the door of my justice. (Diary 1146).

In addition to these words of Our Lord Sr. Faustina gives us the Words of the Mother of Mercy, the Blessed Virgin,

You have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just Judge. Oh how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still the time for granting mercy. (Diary 635).
